Like the beginning of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017

With 238 days to go until the beginning of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, the Official Mascot from the tournament was revealed right now at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Ground.

In a ceremony went to by India’s Minister associated with Youth Affairs and Sporting activities, Vijay Goel, and the chairman from the Fifa 17 Coins XBOX ONE Local Organising Committee, Praful Patel, the young and charismatic face in the FIFA U-17 World Pot India 2017, a clouded leopard named Kheleo, was introduced to a huge selection of fans and media staff.

The clouded leopard is usually a vulnerable wild cat whose habitat extends from the Himalayan foothills to where you live now Southeast Asia.


To commemorate Kheleo’s primary public appearance, Mr Goel said on the gathered guests: “We are sure he will be the most memorable mascots a showing off event in India possesses ever seen. Kheleo is young, vibrant, enthusiastic and a perfect representation of our country. He will help all of us to involve kids with football in the fun way. ”

Citing the Official Mascot as being a major component of the overall event brand that will certainly represent the tournament and the host country, Mr Patel added: “Presenting Kheleo as the state Mascot to the globe is another big step for our event. As the face from the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, he will be going across the country to promote the tournament in order to inspire kids and grownups alike. ”

Kheleo will participate in a number of activities in the run-up to the first FIFA tournament to become hosted by India, which will be performed from 6 to 30 October 2017.
